Trumpeter Swan
This was my second trip to Horicon Marsh this year. On my first trip, I saw the Trumpeter Swans and two Cygnets, and I managed to get a few pictures I could use for identification, but I was not comfortable publishing them. Ultimately, they were too far away.
So I hoped with this visit that I would get an opportunity to get a couple of better photos. So, I set out early, watched the sun rise and then the birds came out for their morning meal.
